B U S H F I R E S

It always starts the same way. A small cloud of smoke on the horizon accompanied by the smell of burning that can be recognized for miles around.
This is the start of the bush fire.
They arrive in the dry season, but we don't really know where they come from.
They can be caused by lightning and are involuntary...
…or otherwise, they can be of human origin. 
They allow slash and burn agriculture... 
...or even attract wild animals when the young shoots come out of the ground. 
Quite handy for hunters.
Finally, there are also fires caused by arsonists.
